With the sixth edition of the iPod nano, Apple has given the nano line its biggest makeover yet, including shrinking the player down and adding a Multi-Touch display. While some of these changes offer big improvements over the traditional Click Wheel interface, the new nano also loses some features and just might be a bit too small.

I still remember my first iPod . I purchased it for $400 in the winter of 2001 and haven’t bought a CD since. The first version of this venerable device came with a tiny gray screen and the iconic navigation wheel, and was a little heavy in its deck-of-cards-sized casing.
